Synopsis

[View Full Script]
A baseball fan is sitting in a park, chanting cheers for his favorite team (The Orioles!) He is clutching a pre-season guide, and clearly enjoying himself greatly. Of course, we quickly discover, there is no game going on in this particular park, nor does the fan have a radio, or even a newspaper to tell him the score. All of his knowledge about his team is gained from his pre-season guide. The various passers-by (one of whom is a Yankees fan, the second of which is considering the Orioles but has a few questions, and the third of which is a complete baseball skeptic) quickly discover this lack of depth in his fandom, and dismiss him as a freak. Unperturbed, the fan continues to chant his cheers for the imaginary game as the skit ends.
