The Rollercoaster

Notes: Unlike the majority of our skits, "The Roller Coaster" relies heavily on physical humor. Be prepared for the difficulty you'll encounter as you try to watch the person in front of you for movement cues, remember your next point, and try to be heard over the other passengers' screams.
For simplicity, we arranged our troupe tallest to shortest, and the person in front was responsible for all the movement cues.

Synopsis

Three passengers sit on a roller coaster train waiting for the ride to begin. The first and third are obviously nervous, while the second waits in eager anticipation. The ride begins, and the traditional first hill is climbed. As the car reaches the top, the front and back passengers look over the peak and yell "We're all going to die!" One buries her face in her hands, and the other grips the car in front of him in terror. The middle passenger waves her hands in the air and whoops with excitement.
As the ride progresses, the first passenger complains she has no idea why she is here. The second answers that the Roller Coaster is part of the amusement park experience. The third passenger complains that the ride will never end and they're certain to fall off the track to their deaths. The middle passenger exclaims that the ride always ends - the ride creator designed it that way. The first passenger claims she was supposed to be in the line for the Tea Cups - they just spin 'round and 'round in circles and never go anywhere. The middle passenger announces "Sometimes you stand in line for the Tea Cups and you end up on the Roller Coaster. Deal with it!" The third passenger complains that he hates this ride because he's not in control of his destiny. The middle passenger points out that this is the whole point, he's not supposed to be in control, all he needs to do is trust that the designer created a good ride. At some point in this diatribe, the middle passenger reacts with surprise and concern to an unexpected bump. Both passengers turn on her and seize on this chink in her armor. She explains that although she certainly doesn't expect or enjoy every twist and turn, she has trust that designer is good at his job - and besides, they prepare her to face the next bump.
As the ride climbs the hill, the rear passenger has begun to see the light. The middle passenger convinces him to let go of the bar and enjoy the final descent. The whole time the first passenger is yelling and screaming and cowering in terror. Finally, much to the surprise and relieve of the first passenger, the car pulls into the station. Everyone breaths heavily for a moment, and then the front passenger turns around and asks "So, you guys want to go again?"
