"Penance" Discussion Terminated
Thank you all for your frank discussion of the subject at hand. It was passionate and thought-provoking. I don't want to cut anyone off, but believe that it would be more beneficial to continue this discussion in a more personal forum, rather than such a public one. I know there are many, probably even in our church who have been deeply wounded and/or have struggled with this. I want to make sure we are caring and compassionate, not just passionately convicted of truth. Again, thank you for your postings, and let's continue to discuss this issue among ourselves in a way that brings healing and light.
