My favorite (and true) short response is: "Im taking my time to make sure I do it right the first time."
My favorite in-depth response is: "Studies have shown that marrying at a later age increases the odds of the marriage lasting. The younger you are, the more likely it is that youll grow in different directions. But when youre older, youve got a better idea of who the person is and that theyre going to stay that way."
But when I'm just tired of being asked, I like: "Just lucky I guess!"
