Responsiblity
The following was posted on my friend Veronica's e-mail. Thought you might enjoy it or have some thoughts.

"Freedom is but the negative aspect of the whole phenomenon whose positive aspect is responsibleness. In fact freedom is in danger of degenerating into mere arbitrariness unless it is lived in terms of responsibleness. That is why I reccommend that the Statue of Liberty on the East Coast [of the U.S.A.] be supplemented by a Statue of Responsibilty on the West Coast [of the U.S.A.]." -Viktor Frankl "Man's Search for Meaning"-Part 2 "Logotherapy in a nutshell" p.156 c.1984.

Has anyone conducted feasibility studies about doing this? I was thinking a good location for the statue might be Hollywood, or perhaps Vegas?

re: Responsiblity
I think I see where he's coming from, but don't see freedom as the negative aspect. Freedom is what makes our choices, be they responsible or otherwise, have meaning.

As for the statue, I think it should be put in Alaska or Hawaii. Vegas could work, but I think it would be twisted if it was put in any of the California/Oregon/Washington cities.
